this is not a Misdirection page (obviously). This is the 1st page of my Rising Stars of Manga (TokyoPop contest) entry. I am allowed to show up to 3 pages of the work in progress and this is page #01!

Good luck to you too! I guess this would go under romance, even though it also has some comedy and fantasy in it as well. I wish there was an experimental genre. What genre are you entering?

Thats awesome..i'm so amazed at how awesome this page is--the first panel is to diiiiiiie for : ) Yeah i'm not a fan of the genre thing now--it's kind of constricting : \ My story is either more along the lines of drama and mystery or something like that :\ it's hard to choose, but in the end they decide what genre its in. Goooood luck :D

unfortunately i've seen a lot of great entries lose and a lot of shitty entries win....*shrugs*
also i forgot to ask--what dimensions are you using for your pages? I wasn't sure if you were aware of all teh crazy mech specs that tokyopop has you do--(i was disqualified for that very reason when i last entered) i wanted to put that out there so you knewwww..

yeah I know they are nuts i know I'm going to have to go over the specs like 30 times before i'm SURE. On RSOM 3 i got messed up cause i didn't have a computer so I did all the measurments by hand...and whatever 7.3675" on a ruler is i will NEVER know...haha. i will definitely let you know if i post anything--i will more than likely just post character sketches hope to see more pages soon! : )

Holy smokes this is amazing. I hope you place--'cause you really deserve it! There's so much detail here and your lines are so smooth o__o Your paneling is great, too. I love how something different is emphasized in every panel. It's already telling a story about the character, despite being currently faceless.

Oooh pretty nice ^__^ Its clean and clear, the design is simple enough but also elegant. I have to say though that you might need to some bits of adjusting your drawings to fit particular panels and how your other panels work in the overall snes of things ^__^

Great work! I can't add more than what's already been said. (Except I think your paneling style might make you a natural for DC's upcoming zudacomics.com thing. You might want to check that out.)
